Okay... okay... I know I haven't blogged in forever... and I'm well aware of the fact that I always say that.... But if you don't know about it already, let me tell you about bloglines. Now that we have that covered... Here's a very quick overview on what my life has entailed lately!

My cousin, Zachery graduated last week and I got to do his cake! Yay! :o)

It was a 2 layered white cake with raspberry filling in between! Yum!! And in spite of neither layer coming out very well, it turned out not looking too bad!

Last weekend was the Omaha Ren Faire... Always way too much fun. We did our consessions and stuff... Florentine Snow (Shaved Ice)... Ye Olde Cinnamon Glazed Nuts... Faerie Floss (Cotton Candy)... King's Court Slushies (Wild Island Drinks)... Fruit Smoothies... Cappuccino Freezes... and more! Alatheia had an outfit to die for! It was SO cool!!

The mad Scotsmen we there again this year! I love those guys... They are absolutely hysterical!!

We had a baby!!! The most adorable little fellow you ever did see! Doesn't have a name yet, any ideas, y'all?

Aaaanndd.... Mom and Caleb got turkeys... Goodness, they're ugly little things! I'm not even joking!! But Caleb's enjoying them, so we'll see how they survive! :o)

There's been more going on around here, so I'll just have to blog here more shortly! Like redoing the dining room floor... and re-painting the walls... and giving the ceiling fan a mak-over... and well... I'll be back! Honest! :o)

Fencing... It's a workout!!!

Whew! I'm tired!!!

I just got in from putting in horse fence today. Whew! **With a great big sigh**

Dad and Micah had some friends come and to help! THANKS YA'LL!!! Not only was it great to get done... It was fun to do it with some company! :o)

And contrary to popular opinion, started by someone... **Cough-Ragnar-Cough** I can cook something that didn't come out of a freezer first! :o) lol Both dinner AND supper turned out well despite none of it being processed and frozen! Fried chicken for dinner and grilled steak and chicken for supper... I'm still stuffed!

It was digging holes every 7 ft... Putting 8 ft. posts in the holes... Filling the holes back up with dirt... Packing the dirt in the holes... Stringing cable... All day! I'm tired and downright beat! But it's nice to get done! No more chasing horses in at 1:30 in the morning!!!

We're not finished yet... But we got the part done that the horses were contantly getting out of. So that's nice!!! It'll be so very wonderful when it's all finished. It already looks so great!

Just thought I'd give ya'll an update on why I was so tired tonight!!! :o)

ANOTHER BABY!

We had ANOTHER baby this morning!!!

It's a boy this time and he is SO cute!

And LOTS spunkier too! :o)

Now with Brandy, we've always done "Indian Tribe names."

We've had: Apache, Cherokee and Little Sioux.

Any ideas? We had thought about Winnebago, "Whinny" for short. Any other ideas?

Just one more mare that'll foal here soon! I'll let you know when that one arrives!!

The 'lil one was born sometime between 8:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m.

Isn't she sweet?! She seems to be pretty calm and not too feisty yet, which is kind of nice! ;o) lol We're excited with how pretty she is!



Now we're deciding on names! Can you think of any good ones? We always name Maggie's babies "flower names." We've had Sweet William (Willy), Dandelion (Dandy), Baby's Breath (Baby), and... there's one more... I can't seem to remember what her name was. Hmmm....
