Well.... Someone's been hard at work with me here!
And slooooowly.... It's taking shape!
Despite a few bad boards... and minor setbacks... it's really looking great! It gives so much character to the room! I'll be posting pics when it's done! Really done!! YAY!!!

Oh, Nicole! What a gorgeous affect to the already gorgeous room! Blogs just won't do it's real beauty justice, right?! Guess that means I'll have to make a visit sometime??? Thanks for the sneak peek! :) Love you!
Hi, I just discovered your blog and can totally relate to all your hard work. My DH and I started renovating our old house a year ago (we're very slow as we've never done anything like this before). We gutted our LR & DR to the studs and replaced the ceiling with tongue and groove. I opted to stain ours and we just love it. We've had lots of compliments on it as you will too with yours. It adds so much to a room. You'll probably find yourself glancing up and admiring it all the time. Great job on the fireplace re-do too. It looks completely updated and fresh against the green walls. I'll drop by again to see what else you have going on. Shirlee :)
I'm one of those people that have "too many hobbies!" I've often wondered... Which is worse? Having too many hobbies, or not enough? I especially enjoy turning things that most people would call trash into true treasures! Garage Sales and Goodwills are my domain!!!However, some other things that I enjoy doing are... (Feel free to stop reading if you get bored!!! :o)
Horseback riding...
Pottery...
Flower Pressing...
Reading...
Glass Etching...
Baking...
Scrapbooking...
An-n-n-nd the list goes on!
This blog is for my latest projects, plans and ideas! :o)
Hope you enjoy!
